Date of founding: 31.01.2013.

Of Core's is a platform dedicated to the underground music scene. The main activity is the promotion of unrecognized bands who are searching their way to the crowd, and the main goal is strengthening of the local scene. The platform is seen as a mediator between bands and the audience, as a place where the first group shares its music, and the second group finds it and comment on it. But besides affirming bands, Of Core's can also be useful as a platform for trying out and affirming of the ones who have photography and journalistic ambitions.

The unity formed like so, that doesn't necessarily have to be based on agreement, but only built around respect and understanding, is what Of Core's wants to create and give to the scene. Thus, we are giving a virtual space to all underground bands (regardless if we personally like them) as long as they aren't sending hate messages. On the road to this goal, we've already done over 20 video interviews, and in front of us appeared completely anonymous bands, but also some of the most loved well known stars. We were at three festivals, a couple of tenths of concerts and we can't wait for the next one.
Therefore, we do interviews with bands, album reviews, concert reports, we share bands' music, or whatever else the bands want to share. Since we are focused on the local scene that isn't really overflowing with events, to maintain continuity we have decided to follow big names of the world's scene.

However, the name itself – is a pun. We are primarily focused on – core music, therefore, we are “Of Core’s”. But with all our hearts, we support every single person who is trying to find an alternative route in music, and therefore, we can go a bit off course in order take the same alternative rout together. So on our page you can even find some pure punk, metal, goth or post-rock local music.

~ Of Core’s crew & roles...
We don’t have some special hierarchy in Of Core’s. Ognjen and Nevena have founded Of Core’s, and in less than 3 years more than 20 people were or are a part of Of Core’s in one way or another. We share tasks regardless the “position” we have in Of Core’s. We all have some roles, yes, but in fact, everyone does what they feel like doing, and here, in Of Core’s, everything is a matter of agreement. On this place we would mention our Slovenian friend Timotej Kočar (Timi) who was a part of us almost from the beginning, and who really contributed a lot with his album reviews and promotion of Slovenian bands.

~ Joining Of Core's & Support...
Of Core's has been focusing on the local scene in the countries of former Yugoslavia, but we are also very familiar with the cooperation with foreign bands from other regions. Yet, if you do want to be a part of Of Core's, for now, it is desirable that you are from this region. If you would like for us to publish your review or a concert report, whether you'd like to be a part of Of Core's for a longer period of time, have in mind that, before that you need to provide just a blend description. Of Core's will always more gladly publish reviews that present someone's personal experience of the event. Considering that all the services Of Core's gives are for free (except the ones we have to pay for), therefore that Of Core's is just someone's hobby, the ones who would like to become a part Of Core's are advised to have that in mind. However, Of Core’s is always open for new members and there is currently eight If’s that you should pay attention to:

1. If you are a photographer who wants to contribute to Of Core’s, either contact us via mail before the show – what we suggest you to do because we might get press pass, or simply submit your photos on the same e mail address, with desired description (links to your personal page or whatever)
2. If a specific underground genre (such as melodic hardcore, deathcore, metalcore, etc.) is your obsession, so as blogging about music, send us an e mail with following info:

- Full name:
- Facebook profile
- Your favorite genre
- Favorite bands from that genre
- How long do you want to be the part of Of Core’s
- Which role would you like to have

3. If you want to help us with artwork, you should send us, either via e mail or facebook, some of your previous work, or even better – some graphic solutions for “Of Core’s”. We really do like what we have now, but refreshments are always welcome. Also check out what this antelope means.
4. If you are (in) a band, and want us to promote you in any way – contact us on facebook, and we will arrange it.
5. If you are (in) a band, and want to do a giveaway via our page – contact us on facebook.
6. If you want us to cover your event send us an e mail. Tell us what you expect and what you can offer (press passes – how many, can we do interviews?)
